Menominee tribe picks new leader

An Indian tribe that wants to build an 800-million dollar casino project in southeast Wisconsin has a new leader.

Menominee leaders elected Laurie Boivin as their chair. She takes over for Craig Corn. He led the tribe for the past two years.

Boivin has served as the tribe's chair in the past, and she'll give the State of the Tribes speech in Madison, later this week.
