Neenah high wins state excellence award

Students at Neenah high school are celebrating a state honor.

Acoalition of school leaders picked Neenah for this year's Wisconsin Spirit of Excellence Award.

Principal Brian Wunderlich says they highlighted a number of things that they're doing, in different areas. He says they include leadership, sportsmanship, and service.

Wunderlich says students did the bulk of the work, during the application process.

It's the first time that Neenah has won the award. The school was a regional winner in 2012.
