Hwy. 41 ramps closing for Hwy. 47 overpass work

Orange construction barrels will be popping up at a busy Highway 41 interchange, next week.

DOT project manager Matt Haefs says crews will be raising the Highway 47 overpass, to bring Highway 41 in line with Interstate standards.

He says only one lane of Highway 47 will be open, in each direction, throughout the entire project. He says drivers from Highway 41 will have to use a different route to get to Richmond Street in Appleton, or head north on Highway 47, because the exit ramps will close.

The project will start next Friday, and it won't be done until October.
