Reported 'kill list' at Hortonville high

Reports of a "kill list" surfaced at Hortonville high school yesterday, and officials believe they found the students who are responsible.

District administrator Heidi Schmidt says they started investigating with police, after some students told staff members about the list. She couldn't say whether they thought the suspects were going to follow through on the implied threat because it's too early in the investigation.

Schmidt says they ordered a "soft" lockdown, requiring students to stay in their classrooms. She says they also sent an alert to parents, so they knew what was happening.
