Stockton looks back on time at PAC

The head of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is reflecting on her tenure.

Susan Stockton took over as president in 2003, shortly after the downtown Appleton venue opened its doors. She's going to retire this summer.

Stockton says the community really embraced the PAC in a way that's making others jealous, across the country. She says that support helped them land major musicals like The Lion King, Wicked, and Jersey Boys.

John Hogerty is the chair of the PAC's board, and he says Stockton is respected across the country. He says she has connections throughout the industry, and she's helped bring a lot of different entertainment to the PAC.

The PAC board is promoting executive vice president Maria Van Laanen to take over for Stockton.
