Amended chemotherapy bill poised to pass

The president of the Senate says he's confident an amended chemotherapy bill, will pass.

The proposal would require insurance plans to cover the pill form of the treatment, if they already cover traditional chemotherapy. Assembly Republicans added a $100 a month co-pay, last week.

Senator Mike Ellis says he didn't like the change, but he'll support the proposal. The Neenah Republican says Democrats are also on board with it.

The Senate passed the original bill last week, and Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald says he'll schedule a vote, on the amended version, next week.  Governor Walker says he'll sign the bill, if it reaches his desk.
