Walker calls on Senate to pass voter ID bill

Governor Walker says there doesn't have to be a special session on voter ID.

He's calling on the Senate to vote next Tuesday on a bill that the Assembly already passed. He believes the proposal "pretty specifically addresses" the concerns with the law that's being challenged in state and federal court.

Walker says if any court decisions are made after lawmakers go home this spring, he could call the Legislature back for a special session to address any issues.

Walker calls voter ID the "most pressing" election-related issue he sees at the Capitol.
