Dudas trial set to start

A local divorce attorney accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting his wife, and beating her, is scheduled to stand trial this week.

Prosecutors charged 49-year-old David Dudas with 31 counts for incidents that date back to the spring of 2012. He's facing 15 counts of sexual assault, along with charges of strangulation and suffocation, battery, reckless injury, suffocation, and intimidating a victim.

Jury selection is supposed to start this morning, in Outagamie County court, and the trial could last all week.

Dudas has been free, on a $750,000 bond. He was charged last July.
