Hanna: Riverfront access important with projects

A new development along the Fox River in Appleton includes a public boardwalk, and Mayor Tim Hanna says it's important to make sure people continue to have access to the water.

He says that's something city leaders have stressed, since developers started taking interest in riverfront sites.

The latest project, RiverHeath, is below the College Avenue bridge. Hanna says Mark Geall of Tanesay Development focused on that access.

There are plans for a riverfront trail that will connect RiverHeath to lower Telulah Park. The first 32-unit apartment building is now open.
