Bombing drill set at Camp Randall Stadium

First responders from the federal, state, and local levels will find out today if they're prepared to deal with a large scale bombing.

They're holding a drill this morning, at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison.

UW-Madison police department spokesman Marc Lovicott says they'll start with a simulated blast, with a lot of smoke. He says 400 people from various agencies are participating.

He says the drill will be a great test for emergency response plans that have been developed over the past several years.

Lovicott says investigators from the FBI and other agencies may also go into the neighboring area, to look for suspects or other explosives.
