EAA AirVenture getting underway

The skies above Oshkosh will be very busy this week for the annual EAA AirVenture.

Spokesman Dick Knapinsky says about 10,000 planes and 500,000 people are coming to the event. It gets underway today.

Knapinsky says they have a number of highlights, including the first full Thunderbirds show at AirVenture. He says they'll also have night air shows on Wednesday and Saturday.

This afternoon's air show features short takeoff and landing specialists, followed by a Kenny Loggins concert.
