Plan to connect Fox Cities, Oshkosh progressing

A rough draft for a bicycle and pedestrian network is in place for the Fox Cities and Oshkosh areas and people can weigh in on the plans today and tomorrow.

Melissa Kraemer Badtke of the East Central Regional Planning Commission says they've identified some corridors that would best link the Fox Cities with Oshkosh.

She says the projects include bike lanes from Neenah to Oshkosh on Highway A and bicycle and pedestrian lanes around the Fox River Mall.

Kraemer Badtke says the group is holding a public meeting tonight at Oshkosh City Hall and tomorrow night at UW-Fox Valley, both run from 5:30 p.m. to 7-30 p.m.

The group plans to finalize its designs in October.
