DOT shows off roundabout plans

Construction is expected to start in three years, on a roundabout project, at a major intersection on Appleton's northside.

The DOT held a public meeting last night on the plans for Richmond Street and Northland Avenue.

Tim Rank is the project manager, and he says it could take several months to finish the work. He says they might have to shut down the intersection for two to three months.

Rank says the roundabout would be similar to the one at College Avenue and John Street, on the eastside of Appleton.
