Jefferson Co. DA running for attorney general

The first Democrat to become the Jefferson County district attorney in 70 years, wants to be the next state attorney general.

DA Susan Happ is one of three Democrats on the ballot, in the August 12 primary. She says she would focus on Internet crimes against children. Happ says she also wants to continue to tackle the heroin problem.

She says as a Democrat in a Republican-leaning county, she's shown that she can represent everyone.

Happ will face Representative Jon Richards of Milwaukee and Dane County district attorney Ismael Ozanne, in the primary.
