AAA projects 875K Wis. Thanksgiving travelers
Nearly 875,000 people are hitting the road this weekend for the Thanksgiving holiday.
AAA Wisconsin spokeswoman Pam Moen says many of them will leave today. She says the day before Thanksgiving is typically one of the busiest travel days of the year.
While people head home on different days, Moen says the highways will be busiest on Sunday. She says it's not just because of the holiday -- deer hunters are making their way back too.
Moen says the number of travelers this weekend will be up about 1 percent from last year.
