Walker responds to latest John Doe emails
In the wake of the release of emails from his former
Milwaukee County staffers, Governor Walker says he's "absolutely" confident that he's not a subject of a John Doe criminal investigation.
Prosecutors showed a judge a number of emails during a sentencing hearing last week. They show the leaders of Governor Walker's 2010 gubernatorial campaign were coordinating with his Milwaukee County staffers, on a daily basis.
Walker says he didn't know that county workers were doing campaign work on county time.
The governor also insists that he's not thinking about running for president in 2016. He's being mentioned nationally, as a possible candidate.
Walker says he's focused on working as governor, and putting together the next state budget.
