G.B. fire dept. changes its name
The Green Bay fire department will now be known
as the "Green Bay Metro fire department."
Fire Chief Mike Nieft says they're making the change, because of the new agreement with Allouez, to handle fire calls in the village.
Nieft says he's going to work to make sure the deal with Allouez is successful, so he can use it as an example, if there are future talks with other communities.
The department revealed its new name, and logo, this morning.
