DNR already looking ahead to next deer hunt

Just because the deer hunting season is over, it doesn't mean the DNR can take it easy.

Big game ecologist Kevin Wallenfang says officials will be working through the winter on implementing more recommendations from a report to Governor Walker last summer.

Wallenfang says the DNR hopes to have all of the recommendations in place for the 2014 deer hunt.
