Pridemore weighing run for school sup.
A Republican lawmaker is considering a run for state school superintendent.
Rep. Don Pridemore of Hartford registered his campaign committee with the Government Accountability Board this morning. Incumbent Sup. Tony Evers is the only other candidate in the race.
The 66-year-old Pridemore was unopposed earlier this month, when he won his fifth term in the Assembly.
The election is April 2, but if more than two candidates run, there will be a primary in February.
