Roggensack running for 2nd Supreme Court term
There's an election for a spot on the state Supreme Court next spring, and the incumbent is officially in the race.
Justice Pat Roggensack announced her bid for re-election, yesterday afternoon. She's running for a second, 10-year term on the high court. She was a member of a state appeals court, when she won the 2003 Supreme Court election.
Lemon law attorney Vince Megna is already planning to challenge Roggensack. Marquette University law professor Ed Fallone and Dane County Judge Maryann Sumi might also run.
If there are more than two candidates, there will be a primary in February. The general election is in April.
