Non-profit to help connect cancer patients

A new Green Bay-based non-profit will focus on helping cancer patients.

Connect Inc. vice president Jennifer Hickey says their mission is to help cancer patients find the resources they need to connect with local or federal assistance programs, get a second opinion, or just find some information. She says a little extra help can make all of the difference for people dealing with cancer.

Connect Inc. opened its doors yesterday. The group is based in the Hermes law office on Dousman Street in Green Bay.

The service is free.
