'The Lion King' tickets going on sale

The longest-running show in the 10-year history of the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center is coming back next spring, and people can buy tickets for The Lion King starting this morning.

The musical will be in Appleton for four weeks, from April 9 to May 5.

It was at the PAC for six weeks of sold-out shows, in 2007.

Spokeswoman Tara Brzozowski says they believe people will come to see it again, because audiences have been asking for the musical to return. She says The Lion King is for all ages, and some kids may have been too young to see it last time.

Tickets go on sale at 7 a.m. today, and the first 100 people at the PAC's box office will receive a The Lion King souvenir.
