Thrivent employees working for donations

There's some entertainment at many of the Salvation Army Fox Cities red kettles today.

It's the Thrivent Financial match day, and many of the company's employees are taking part in the "Red Kettle Idol" contest, where groups show up at the kettles wearing themed outfits, and they sing songs, and put on skits in an attempt to generate more donations.

Peter Gianoupolus organizes the match day for Thrivent, and he says the match day a big deal for people who work there.

Thrivent is matching all donations today, up to $125,000.  If the match is maxed out, the Salvation Army Fox Cities will make a big dent in its $1.2 million dollar fundraising goal.
