Houdini Plaza crash was a rollover accident
Police believe a 24-year-old Appleton man hit a curb in Houdini
Plaza, and that caused his car to flip over, early yesterday morning.
Ralph Bush was pronounced dead at a local hospital. Investigators say he drove into the plaza from Soldiers Square, around 1:30 a.m., after he may have been involved in a fight.
Sgt. Pat DeWall says they're still tracking down witnesses, and talking with them. He says they're fortunate no one was hit by the car, because typically, people are out-and-about at that time of the morning, on a weekend.
Police were called to the area of College Avenue and Durkee Street, for a fight. They say Bush drove off, without his headlights on. A Waupaca man was riding in the car, and he suffered non life-threatening injuries.
