State expects another record year for tourism
The state's tourism industry could set another record this year.
That's according to tourism Secretary Stephanie Klett.
She says the reports from four regional tourism specialists are positive. She says they won't know the final numbers until May of next year.
Tourism revenue was up eight percent last year, to $16 billion. One in every 13 jobs in the state is sustained by tourism activity.
