AAA: Drivers get winter driving reminder
Some drivers were caught off guard by the return of winter driving conditions.
Local sheriff's departments say there were a number of minor crashes overnight, and Pam Moen of AAA Wisconsin says that's predictable. Moen says we seem to forget the basics of winter driving.
Moen says now is the time to check your winter emergency kit in your vehicle. She says it should include blankets, boots, food and water. Moen says its also a good idea to have a scrapper and a shovel, and keep your cell phone charged.
