Menasha school board still weighing options
Architects talked about plans to renovate Menasha's high school last night, as the school board decides whether to hold a referendum to get money for the $26 million to $30 million project.
Superintendent Bob Kobylski says the 70 year old building needs a major technological upgrade, and the school board wants to make sure that the plan includes everything that the students need to be prepared for the future. He says the proposal, which is the less costly of two options, would keep most of the existing building intact.
The school board will decide whether to hold an April referendum on the proposal, during its meeting on January 14.
