Appleton schools recognizing business partners
The Wisconsin Association of School boards is creating an honor roll for businesses and organizations that work closely with schools, and last night the Appleton school district nominated five business for that list.
School district superintendent Lee Allinger says there are several companies that do a lot for the schools...but they could only recognize five of them this year.
The list includes Community First Credit Union, the Appleton Housing Authority, SECURA Insurance, the Orthopedic and Sports Institute of the Fox Valley, and the Plexus Corporation.
The school board officially recognized the businesses during a meeting last night.
