'Fiscal Cliff' protestors gather in Appleton
As the tension over the fiscal cliff increases, a group of about 50 people demonstrated in favor of an upper-class tax increase yesterday afternoon, in front of a local congressman's office in downtown Appleton.
Diane Kuse of Green Bay was among the members of Wisconsin Jobs Now, and the AFL-CIO. She says they want to make sure Republican Congressman Reid Ribble knows that they don't support cuts to safety net programs, like social security, and Medicare.
Similar rallies were held at local congressional offices across the state.
