Bicycle, pedestrian plan moving to next stage
A plan to improve pedestrian and bicycle access between the Fox Cities and Oshkosh is moving forward, after a local planning group wrapped up a series of public hearings this week.
Melissa Kraemer Badtke of the East Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission says they'll take the recommendations that they got at those meetings, and work some of them into a master plan.
She says they would like to have a final plan approved by early 2014. It would then go to local communities, and they could decide what parts to move ahead with.
