Green Bay bishop joins Twitter

The bishop of the Green Bay Catholic Diocese is following the Pope's lead, by joining Twitter.

Bishop David Ricken joined the social network yesterday afternoon, and sent his first Tweet.

He says it's an attempt to help the church connect with young adult parishioners. Ricken says he's heard from other bishops that are already on Twitter, and they've had some success.

Ricken's Twitter handle is @Green Bay Diocese.
