Appleton holding 'How to' class for city council
Appleton officials are holding a class to night, to show the public what all goes in to being an alderman.
City Clerk Char Peterson says they put on the presentation every year, for people who might be interested in running for a seat on the city council.
She says the mayor and two aldermen will be there to let people know what responsibilities, and time commitments, go with the job. Peterson says she hopes a lot of people come to the meeting.
The "how to be an alderman" class starts at 7 p.m. on the 6th floor of city hall.
