Ribble for tighter truck driver drug testing
Truck drivers would have to submit to hair drug testing if a Wisconsin congressman gets his way.
Congressman Reid Ribble represents Wisconsin's eighth district, in northeast Wisconsin, and he's proposing a pilot program where trucking companies could require job applicants to take a hair drug test.
Ribble says trucking industry officials asked for the change, because they feel that urine drug tests are too easy to cheat.
Congress could take up Ribble's bill next year.
