Schools providing counselors after shooting

Children across the country returned to their classrooms today with heavy hearts and many questions, in light of last Friday's deadly school shooting in Connecticut.

Appleton school Sup. Lee Allinger says they knew they needed to be prepared to help all their students, from kindergarten on up, deal with the senseless tragedy.

Allinger says today's high school students are no strangers to the reality of school shootings.

Allinger says they have extra counselors on hand, if students are struggling to deal with the shooting. He says at some point during today, all schools will hold a moment of silence, to honor the victims.
