G.C. development progressing
Grand Chute officials are anticipating a building boom along Highway 41, west of Richmond Street.
Community development director Bob Buckingham says developers are wrapping up their work on residential projects on 60 acres of land along Evergreen Drive.
The first project is under way on 90 acres that are set aside for commercial developments. He says it took more time for the commercial property, because of the planning process, but he expects businesses to flock to that area because of its easy access to Highway 41.
He says there's room for 20 to 25 businesses in that area.
