Some G.B. schools invite parents to drills
Some Green Bay schools are opening their doors to parents this week, to let them see an emergency drill, in action.
Executive director of pupil services Barbara Dorff says every school will practice its lockdown procedure, in the wake of the school shooting in Connecticut. She says they want to give parents some piece of mind.
Dorff says if principals decide to give parents a chance to watch a drill, they're going to be strict about it. She says parents have to register ahead of time.
