De Pere native in cast of 'Catch Me If You Can'
A De Pere native is getting a chance to perform close to home, 
during a touring Broadway show's run at the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center.
Travis Mitchell plays FBI Agent Branton in the musical version of Catch Me If You Can. He says to actually come back to the area, on a touring production, is very exciting. He says growing up, he wanted to be actor, and he went to a number of shows at the Weidner Center in Green Bay.
Catch Me If You Can opened last night, and Mitchell says his parents were there to see it. He says about 40 to 50 friends are coming to watch the musical on Saturday.
Mitchell is a 1992 graduate of East De Pere high school.
Catch Me If You Can will be at the PAC through Sunday.
