Fox River Mall coping with storm
With just days until Christmas, the winter storm could have an effect on the local economy.
The Fox River Mall is open, but some stores within the mall, including J.C. Penney's, are closed.
Mall general manager John Bergland says the storm had a pretty significant impact on their traffic this morning. He says he's not sure if the impending snow brought more people to the mall yesterday.
Bergland says they'll continue to review the situation throughout the day, and weigh the option of closing early.
