Wolf lawsuit ruling on hold
The winter storm is pushing back a judge's decision on using dogs to hunt wolves.
Dane County Judge Peter Anderson delayed his ruling until January 4, because the courthouse is closed for the day.
A group of humane societies filed a lawsuit earlier this year, claiming that the DNR doesn't have any restrictions on how hunters can train and use dogs to hunt wolves. Anderson temporarily banned the use of dogs, while he hears the case.
