Food pantry closing in on $250K goal

The St. Joseph Food Program in Menasha helps feed about a thousand families a week, and the non-profit is trying to raise $250,000 by the end of the year, to cover some of its expenses.

Karen Ziemke is the organization's development director. She says their annual budget is about $1 million.

Ziemke says she's not sure how much has come in so far, but she thinks they're getting close to their goal. The fundraising drive runs through the end of the year.
