Investigation into Houdini Plaza crash closed
Appleton police think a man was hanging out on College
Avenue, trying to stir up trouble earlier this month, before he was killed in a rollover accident, in Houdini Plaza.
Capt. Todd Freeman says investigators have closed their investigation into the December 2 death of 24-year-old Ralph Bush of Appleton. He says Bush apparently got into a fight, around 1:30 a.m., near College Avenue and Durkee Street. Freeman says Bush drove off, and the victim was still at the scene.
Police say Bush hit a curb in Houdini Plaza, and rolled his car. A Waupaca man was in the car, but he wasn't seriously hurt.
Freeman says a number of people called police, after hearing about the accident, to report what the two men had been doing throughout the night.
