Appleton city council races in place
There will be three contested races on the spring ballot for
seats on the city council.
The eight odd-numbered districts are up this year, and Char Peterson says it's typical to have competition in about three of them.
There's still a chance for more candidates to get into the 13th district race. Ald. Jim Clemons declared he wasn't going to run, after the deadline, so people have until Friday afternoon at 5 p.m. Pamela Holdorf and Kyle Lobner are seeking his spot.
In the 3rd district, Ald. Curt Konetzke will take on Mark Priddis. Ald. Ed Baranowski will meet Sarah Garb in the 5th district.
