Sides disagree over wind turbine findings
The finding that wind turbines can create low-frequency noise is raising questions about what that means.
A state lawmaker believes it shows a link between the turbines and health issues, but a renewable energy group says that wasn't a part of the study.
Four companies studied the Shirley Wind Farm in Brown County's town of Glenmore, and one of the workers got sick, after spending a lot of time around three homes.
Clean Wisconsin staff scientist Tyson Cook says they didn't find a conclusive link. He believes the study is being mischaracterized, and he says that's unfortunate.
Rep. Andre Jacque of De Pere is calling for the Public Service Commission put all wind turbine projects on hold.
