Markesan mortition faces trial on drug charges
A mortician from Markesan is pleading not guilty to charges that she sold heroin from her family's funeral home.
25-year-old Melissa Wachholz is facing a series of charges, and she entered not guilty pleas in Green Lake County court.
Court records say she drove to Milwaukee every day, to buy five to eight grams of heroin. Prosecutors say she sold some of it, and used the rest, herself.
Wachholz has worked at the funeral home, with her sister, since 2004.
