CDBG funding up for grabs in Appleton
Non-profits are applying for grants from the city
of Appleton this week, through a federal program.
Ald. Peter Stueck is the chair of the community and economic development committee, and he says they always face tough decisions. He says they usually don't have enough money to give everyone a grant.
Stueck says the city will have about $60,000 to split between the groups.
The application deadline for the community development block grants is Friday. The city council will take them up, next month.
