Community reacts to pastor's death
The former colleagues of a community leader and advocate for children, are looking back on her life.
Pastor Manns died Tuesday, at 59.
Appleton diversity coordinator Kathy Flores says Manns was an amazing woman who dedicated her life to helping others. She says Manns had ongoing health problems, but she didn't dwell on it.
Manns was the founder of the child abuse prevention program, BABES Respite and Counseling Services.
Flores says Manns was active in many organizations, and she was really "larger than life."
Manns held a doctorate in theology. She was also an author and composer.
