Car sales up double-digits in 2012
More people bought vehicles in Wisconsin last year.
Scott Quimby of Reg Trak says sales of cars and trucks were up 12.3 percent statewide in 2012. He says that's a little lower than the national numbers, but dealers were still pretty pleased.
Car and truck sales in the state last year totaled 185,000, and more than half of them were trucks and SUV's.
Quimby says last year marked the second consecutive year of improved sales.
