Charges expected in Molotov cocktail arrest
A 20-year-old Milwaukee man could face charges today, for threatening the state Capitol with Molotov cocktails.
Kvon Smith was taken into custody Tuesday afternoon, in the rotunda, and he told officers he had one in his backpack. Investigators are testing the bottles at the state crime lab, but they don't believe the contents were flammable.
Governor Walker says authorities saw Smith post a threat on Facebook, and they were watching out for him.
Prosecutors plan to file charges against Smith today. There are reports that Smith is dealing with a mental illness.
