Bi-partisan group calls for debt deal
Two former lawmakers want to see a deal to address the federal deficit.
Former Democratic governor Tony Earl and former Republican congressman Scott Klug of Madison are the co-chairs of Fix the Debt Wisconsin.
Klug says increasing the eligibility age for Medicare, to 67, is one possibility. He says it would save a lot of money in the long run.
Earl says both parties seem to think they're benefiting politically by sticking to their positions. He says people are fed up with all of them.
