G.B. man died from hypothermia

A 38-year-old Green Bay man who was found outside his home yesterday morning, died of hypothermia.

Lt. Kevin Warych says the Brown County medical examiner ruled that Brian Hicks was out in the cold weather for too long, with inadequate clothing. Hicks lived alone in his house, in the 1700 block of East Shore Circle, on the city's northeast side.

Warych says police found his car in the parking lot of a nearby bar. He says preliminary toxicology tests show alcohol was a factor.

Warych says there was no foul play involved in the death.
